William Alessi serves as Alpha Modus’ Chief Executive Officer. In 2014, Mr. Alessi formed Alpha Modus and became its initial seed investor and Founder. Since 1996 through the present day, Mr. Alessi has taken the role as an entrepreneurial investor, focusing on real estate, short term equity trading, longer term small cap equities investments and technology opportunities. Mr. Alessi continuously seeks out investments in early-stage technology and data-driven ventures.
Mr. Garel was the Founder and CEO of eyeQ and Inventor of Alpha Modus’ ‘571 Patent. During his time as eyeQ CEO, Mr. Garel developed a proven track record of creating innovative products at companies such as Dell, Xplore Technologies, eyeQ, and Accruent. Mr. Garel is the founder and CEO of eyeQ, where he created an award-winning retail technology company that enabled clients such as Ford, HP, and Otterbox to optimize their in-store marketing and merchandising. Currently, Mr. Garel serves as the Director of Product for Omnicell, where he is leading product development, and go-to-market strategies for next-gen connected medication management systems for acute and non-acute care. In prior years, Mr. Garel’s tenure at Accruent generated the launch of a new data platform utilizing aggregated maintenance data to predict equipment replacement cycles and drive hospitals’ capital plans. Mr. Garel received his BS from Carnegie Mellon University and his MBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business.
Rod Sperry serves as Alpha Modus’ Chief Financial Officer and brings 14 years of experience in public accounting at leading accounting services and consulting firms in Utah. Since 2010, Mr. Sperry has served as an outside controller for several public companies primarily responsible for financial and SEC reporting. Mr. Sperry obtained a Master’s in Business Administration from Utah State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Westminster College.
Chris Chumas serves as Alpha Modus’ Chief Sales Officer providing more than 15 years of experience as a sales and strategy leader. Most recently, Mr. Chumas held the role of Enterprise Sales Leader at WorkFusion, a leading provider of Intelligent Automation solutions for Fortune 500 enterprises, banks, insurance, and financial services companies. Prior to his experience at WorkFusion, he held the position of Enterprise Sales Executive at Erwin, Inc., and from 2008 to 2017, Mr. Chumas served in various revenue producing roles at IBM responsible for evolving current client relationships into partnerships while driving new revenue and signings across all IBM brands. Mr. Chumas earned his BA in Marketing and Mathematics from Appalachian State University.
